Barclays and Liberty Life improve cover for critically ill persons

Liberty Life and Barclays Bank Botswana today launched two innovative
products Tshireletso Insurance Plan and Bosele Life Plan to offset burden
of people burdened with critical illness and improve life cover for needy
constituencies.

Tshireletso Insurance plan deals with people who are being diagnosed with a
critical illness could be a painful and stressful time for you and your
family. It could require large health care resources or life sustaining
medical technology. Your financial freedom and peace of mind is important
to us.

“That is why we’ve designed a Tshireletso Plan that will give you a lump
sum to help ease the financial burden that you could suffer due to a
critical illness. Critical illness includes cancer, stroke, major organ
transplant and heart attack. The cover provides benefit level from P50, 000
to P250, 000,” said Lulu Rasebotsa, Managing Director of Liberty Life
Botswana.

She said, “Bosele life Plan provides life cover of up to P15M with limited
medical underwriting. There is no waiting period in the sense that, once
client has been fully accepted after having gone through medical
underwriting, covers starts immediately. Further to that, it is a whole of
life cover and Barclays clients can be rest assured that their cover will
never expire at end any specified term. They will be covered for their rest
of their lives.”

Bosele Life Plan has optional benefits being, permanent disability,
physical impairment, critical Illness, and immediate expense benefits. A
claim from optional benefits will not reduce the main core benefit, which
is the life cover.
