"Behavioral change critical for sustainable development" asserted authorities

Behavioural changes, attitudes, practices,team building,resilience and capacity to adapt are the only way towards integrated sustainable development in Botswana. This was said by the Deputy Permanent secretary Felix Monggae in the Ministry of Environment, Wildlife and Tourism (MEWT) today at a conference held at Gaborone Sun.

Batswana believe corruption is increasing

According to the results of the Afrobarometer survey of Botswana conducted in June 2014 81% of Batswana think that Government officials are actively involved in corruption. In fact, just over 51% of the 1200 adults interviewed believe that corruption has increased over the last 12 months.
