Bots poised to ratify UNESCO Convention on Cultural Artifacts

Stakeholders completed a taxing two day exercise Tuesday to fully review laws of Botswana for the purpose of ratifying the first and second protocols to the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the event of armed conflict 1954, UNESCO Convention on the means of prohibiting and preventing the illicit import, export and transfer of ownership of cultural property 1970 and Unidroit Convention on stolen or illegally exported cultural objects 1995.
